My Journey

Hi! I'm Jessica, a dedicated health enthusiast with a background in Kinesiology and Chemistry from Oregon State University and a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner certification from the NTA. My fascination with the intricacies of the human body has led me to firmly believe that nutrition is a pivotal factor in upholding our overall well-being.

I’ve always been deeply engaged in sports from soccer and cross country to weight-lifting. However, I did not fully grasp the significance of proper nourishment and adequate hydration. Even though I was active, I was frustrated with my lack of improvement. I considered myself healthy, yet I battled excruciatingly painful periods every month. I wondered if my lack of improvement and monthly discomfort were my destined reality.

Driven by my desire to address these issues, I turned to nutrition to understand and rectify the problems that medical professionals claimed would be resolved by monthly ibuprofen. My intention was to tackle the root causes of my pain rather than merely masking the symptoms. This personal journey ignited my passion for helping others optimize their health.

Guided by this passion, I pursued a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner certification, adopting a comprehensive approach to well-being. I’m a strong proponent of the transformative influence of balanced nutrition, consistent physical activity, and effective stress management. These pillars form the core of my endeavor to aid others in reaching their health and wellness aspirations.

I enjoy playing Gaelic Football, weight-lifting, running, reading, baking, and traveling. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any inquiries about how I can support you on your journey to improved health.
